Happy Birthday Tristan!!

Tristan turned two on February 9. It was really funny when you asked him how old he was going to be. He would answer "four?", then we would say no....and then he would say "Two!" That is how it would go every time.

My first Valentines Day/Outfit

Coee here again. Boy, you people (I know, I know, it's WE now! ) sure do celebrate a lot!! Since I have been home, I've celebrated Christmas, New Years, my birthday, Trey and Dillon's birthday, Chinese New Year, the Super Bowl, my mommy's cousin Donald's birthday, Tristan's birthday, and now this thing called Valentine's Day???? They say Valentine's Day is all about love. If that's so, then what were all of those other parties for? I was so sure that what I felt and saw at all of them was LOVE too?! I'm so confused!!

Anyways, I got dressed up in my Valentine's Day outfit (a special outfit is a requirement of these occasions, right? That's what mommy says. I just want to make sure she is not pulling my leg.) We went out to dinner as a family. I got a lot of cards and some books and toys. I like these holiday things!!

These pictures aren't the greatest, but the subject did her best, and aren't my bare little legs cute!?
Work it. Work it.

How do I look?

Is this my good side?

I spend a lot of time looking out this window; at the puppy dogs and my brothers. I can't wait until spring when I can go out there and play myself!!!

Ice Ice Baby

We had a pretty major ice storm here last week. Trey and Dillon got out of school mid-day Tuesday, and then were out Wednesday and Thursday. There was enough snow one day to play in the snow. However, the lack of snow did not prevent playing outside. They snowboarded down the steep hill behind our house on Wednesday. After the snow melted but there was still a bit of ice on Thursday, they switched to "mud-boarding" the same hill. There were quite a few homes without power for anywhere from a few hours to a few days, and many trees to clear from power lines, the roads and yards. But it was pretty.

The view from our shower window. This is ONE of the views I dreamed of when we designed our shower with a window in it!! (You can't see it, but it was snowing. Beautiful!!)

Sa-lute!!

Hi! It's Coee and I just heard some great news! My mommy's cousin, Greg, is serving in Iraq. He is one of the few family members that I have not met yet. The rumor is that he is going to be headed home within the next couple of months. ALL of my family and I are so very excited to have Greg back home again. Our thoughts and prayers are with Greg and all of our military!

Salute!!

I'm SO excited!

Come home soon, Greg!!
